PSA: The KVML and Book Banning

As we’ve all probably seen, there’s been a resurgence in the book burning crowd over the last few months. Recently, anti-literacy group “Moms4Liberty” has successfully advocated for the banning of Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut in one of Florida’s school districts. It is a moment of deep disappointment for this native Floridian, and I’ve already donated to the KVML who in response is sending 1,000 free copies of Slaughterhouse-Five to students who have had it banned in their district. A whopping 250 of these copies have already been sent out! Money is tight these days for everyone, but if you’ve any to spare consider donating at kvml.org/donate to combat the book-banning craze.
